He truly was the highlight of our two week trip across Thailand and Cambodia. We were not dissapointed! He picked us up at the airport, took us to the hotel, waited for us and drove us around for 3 days, 2 days on tuk tuk and 1 by car. He took care of everything! He provided us with information on the temples, provided cold water and refreshing towels.
And now, back to an astonishingly cute little peanut of a girl. It’s like some sort of make shift chat room for regulars who speak exclusively in overplayed and not particularly funny inside jokes. “Something about ponies! Something about an island! Some that sounds like I’m just trying way too hard to think of something funny!” I like reading Celebritology, but the comments are brutal.
I got hungry after a bit, and tried to find a good food truck. I had a little money and I was unused to being on my own like this, but I didn want to go back to the Other Side. I knew now without a shadow of a doubt, this was the Good side and that was the Bad side..
Seriously, for me to get up and leave, it has to be pretty bad! Especially after leaving a place like FRED’s in FT Worth where all of the servers take care of everybody! This restaurant was not busy and I was sat in a place where I had to get up and move the tables and chairs so I could sit down. We were then passed by at least 5 8 other servers with no one even greeting or asking if we were being waited on, so we got up and moved to the bar area. At least in the bar area, we were greeted but never served and we eventually left.
Whether or not Santoshi’s death was, in fact, a starvation death is disputed or covered up. But certain facts are clear: a young girl is dead, and her family did not have ration cards. She was almost certainly malnourished as were her surviving family members and neighboring children observed in and around her home..
When there a photographer on you, you performing a dance with them and you really are just going to be moving your body the whole time. And even if you have a friend who is just snapping you on their phone, you can do slow movements. Get creative, it all about movement, don stand still.
Just like anything else that comes with the risk of addiction; this does not affect the entire gaming population. It is also something that I think we can’t just ignore anymore. There are so many similarities between an MMORPG and any other type of addiction that it’s hard not to become quite worried about people who are caught in this particular trap.
